Jacobsen recently played a key role in the preparation for Gold Cup quarterfinal soccer matches held in Atlanta, GA. U.S.-based sports turf contractor Precision Turf, LLC installed a temporary natural grass field above the permanent artificial playing surface for the two quarterfinal matches. Precision Turf requested the use of Ransomes Mastiff walk-behind mowers, manufactured by Ransomes Jacobsen in the UK. The mowers are specifically designed to maintain athletic fields.
Jacobsen announced today it recently sold its 5,000th ECLIPSE greens mower. In just under 6 years, the equipment manufacturer has sold over 5,000 walking and riding ECLIPSE units around the world.
Hunter Industries announces all AC powered controllers will carry the WaterSense label when paired with the appropriate Solar Sync sensor. Using onsite weather data, the Solar Sync sensor adjusts daily run times on Hunter controllers to maximize water savings.
