Exmark to offer suspended operator platform on 2026 Lazer Z S-Series

Exmark announced it will offer a suspended operator platform option on its Lazer Z S-Series commercial zero-turn mowers this spring. The model is a late addition to the company’s 2026 product line.

Exmark Marketing Manager Lenny Mangnall said the model was introduced following customer requests, including from contractors who previously owned suspension platform-equipped Lazer Z units.

“After quietly discontinuing our suspension platform equipped Lazer Z models a few years back, each year we’ve seen a steady increase in customer requests for its reintroduction,” Mangnall said. “It’s one of those features that, for crews mowing rough, uneven terrain, is a game changer.

“Whether it’s to replace aging machines, or simply add to their fleet, contractors were asking for the mowers, so we made it a priority to make it happen for 2026.”

According to the company, the suspended operator platform uses three coil-over hydraulic dampers intended to reduce the impact of bumps and vibration reaching the operator. The design can be adjusted without tools to accommodate different operator weights and ride preferences. The coil-over dampers are designed to be maintenance-free.

The platform also incorporates Exmark’s Iso-Mount seat isolation system, which provides lateral and vertical isolation. The system is paired with a contoured seat profile and elastomeric foam seat base.

The suspension platform-equipped Lazer Z S-Series is available with a 60-inch UltraCut Series 4 cutting deck and a Kawasaki FX801V engine. The mower includes four annual grease points and sealed bearing spindle assemblies intended to reduce maintenance requirements during the mowing season.

Additional features include on-board diagnostics with an electronic fuel gauge, battery voltage warning, hour meter and OPC safety switch monitoring. The mower is equipped with a 12-gallon fuel tank.

The suspended operator platform option will be available this spring.
