The Toro Company, Beacon Athletics and Diamond Pro will again join forces to present the Athletic Field Maintenance Forums. New for this series, the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) will grant 0.6 continuing education units (CEU) in Continuing Education Points.
Part of Trimble’s Blue Ox™ forestry automation system, a Recon® rugged handheld computer is installed on every loader at the harvest site. Equipped with cellular communications, GPS positioning and 802.11g wireless, the Recon receives instructions from the Blue Ox system, telling the operator what loads go onto what truck. It also updates the system with a timestamp when loading is complete and displays the destination mill for the loaded truck (shown).
