Little League field makeover contest in Albuquerque

One lucky Albuquerque area Little League will get the chance to have their field upgraded by the Albuquerque Isotopes’ very own grounds crew as part of the ‘Topes’ special “Minor League Makeover” program.  To register, Little Leagues must fill out an entry form found here and submit a photo of their field by February 24. After that, the Isotopes will post each picture on the ‘Topes’ Facebook Page, where fans will have the opportunity to vote on which field deserves the makeover. The Little League whose photo gets the most “Likes” by 5:00 PM on March 9th will have their field rehabilitated by the Isotopes’ award-winning grounds crew staff, including field surface refurbishment, outfield fence repair and dugout renovation.
The user must “Like” the Isotopes Facebook page for their votes to be counted.
In order to get a proper understanding of what the field’s needs will be, please send photos taken from behind home plate looking out towards the field, as well as photos of the pitcher’s mound, home plate, outfield fence and dugouts. All photos and completed entry forms should be emailed to Kim Stoebick or mailed to Albuquerque Isotopes Attn: Minor League Makeover 1601 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE, ABQ, NM 87106. If you have any questions please contact Kim Stoebick at (505) 222-4014 or Kstoebick@ABQIsotopes.com.
