Ryobi has introduced seven new cordless outdoor power equipment products across its 18V ONE+ and 40V platforms, including a leaf vacuum/mulcher, hedge trimmers, blower, chainsaw, earth auger, string trimmer/mower and edger.
The 40V lineup includes the 40V HP Brushless Leaf Vacuum/Mulcher, 40V HP Brushless 26-inch Hedge Trimmer and 40V 475 CFM Blower.
The 40V HP Brushless Leaf Vacuum/Mulcher delivers 70% more suction power than the previous RY40405 model, according to Ryobi, while weighing 20% less. Its metal impeller is designed to mulch 16 bags of leaves into one, and its 15-gallon collection bag includes a shoulder strap. The tool offers variable-speed control and a cruise control dial. With a 40V 6Ah battery, the kit provides more than 30 minutes of runtime.
The leaf vacuum/mulcher is available as model RY40HPLB03B for $199 or RY40HPLB03K with a 40V 6Ah battery and charger for $299.
The 40V HP Brushless 26-inch Hedge Trimmer features a 26-inch bar and 1.25-inch cut capacity. It includes anti-jam technology, dual-action blades, a rotating handle and a HEDGESWEEP debris remover. Ryobi says the tool provides more than 45 minutes of runtime with the included 40V 2Ah battery.
The hedge trimmer is available as model RY40HPHG01B for $189 or RY40HPHG01K with a 40V 2Ah battery and charger for $249.
The 40V 475 CFM Blower produces up to 475 CFM and 120 mph. It offers variable-speed control and more than 85 minutes of runtime with a 40V 4Ah battery when operated on the low setting. The battery is sold separately. Model RY40LB02B has an MSRP of $109.
The new 18V ONE+ lineup includes the HP Brushless 14-inch Chainsaw, HP Brushless 6-inch Earth Auger, 13-inch String Trimmer/Edger, 12-inch 3-in-1 Mower/String Trimmer/Edger, 8-inch Edger and 18-inch Pole Hedge Trimmer.
The 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 14-inch Chainsaw is designed for tree maintenance, storm cleanup, felling and bucking. Ryobi says the chainsaw can make more than 100 cuts per charge with an 18V ONE+ 6Ah battery and up to 180 cuts when paired with an 18V ONE+ 8Ah EDGE battery. The 14-inch bar and chain provide a claimed 24-inch cut capacity. The chainsaw also features a mechanical chain brake, automatic oiler, variable-speed trigger and tooled chain tensioning system.
Model PBLCW02K, which includes an 18V 6Ah battery and charger, has an MSRP of $259.
The 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 6-inch Earth Auger is designed for light cultivating and digging holes for fencing and landscaping. It features an anti-kickback system, three speed settings, forward and reverse functions and a quick-connect 6-inch auger bit. Ryobi says it can dig more than 15 holes per charge with an 18V ONE+ 4Ah battery and reach depths of up to 31 inches.
The earth auger is available as model PBLAUG01B for $249 or PBLAUG01K with an 18V 4Ah battery and charger for $299.
The 18V ONE+ 13-inch String Trimmer/Edger is designed for light-duty trimming on smaller yards. It features a three-position head for trimming, inline edging and storage, an adjustable 11- to 13-inch cutting swath and an auto-feed head. The kit provides more than 25 minutes of runtime with an 18V ONE+ 2Ah battery.
Model PCLST02B has an MSRP of $69.97, while model PCLST02K with an 18V 2Ah battery and charger is priced at $99.
The 18V ONE+ 12-inch 3-in-1 Mower/String Trimmer/Edger combines three lawn care functions in one tool. A detachable 12-inch deck converts the string trimmer into a mower, while the shaft can be twisted to convert the trimmer into an edger. The mower has four cutting-height settings from 1.5 to 3.5 inches, while the trimmer offers a 10- to 12-inch cutting swath. Ryobi says the kit provides more than one hour of runtime with an 18V ONE+ 4Ah battery.
Model PCLST05B has an MSRP of $159, while model PCLST05K with an 18V 4Ah battery and charger is priced at $209.
The 18V ONE+ 8-inch Edger is designed for edging along driveways and sidewalks. It features variable-height adjustment from 0.5 to 2 inches, a 4-inch rear wheel and a blade indicator. Ryobi says the tool provides 20% more power than the previous P2300 model and more than 25 minutes of runtime with an 18V ONE+ 2Ah battery.
Model PCLED01B has an MSRP of $99, while model PCLED01K with an 18V 2Ah battery and charger is priced at $129.
The 18V ONE+ 18-inch Pole Hedge Trimmer includes an extension pole that provides a 9-foot extension for reaching taller hedges and bushes. Its 18-inch bar has a 5/8-inch cut capacity, while the six-position pivoting head allows trimming at different angles. The tool also includes dual-action blades and a HEDGESWEEP debris remover. Ryobi says the kit provides more than 40 minutes of runtime with an 18V ONE+ 2Ah battery.
Model PCLPHG01B has an MSRP of $159, while model PCLPHG01K with an 18V 2Ah battery and charger is priced at $189.
The new 18V ONE+ products are compatible with the Ryobi 18V ONE+ system, which includes more than 300 cordless products. The 40V products are part of the Ryobi 40V system, which includes more than 85 products. Batteries within each platform are interchangeable across compatible products.
