Turface Athletics proudly announces a new partnership with Ripken Baseball Inc. (RBI). Now named The Official Sports Field Conditioner of Ripken Baseball, Turface Athletics will work with its new partner to continue to promote field education and maintenance. Ripken Baseball uses Turface products exclusively on its fields, ensuring top playing conditions for players.
Both organizations share many of the same values in supporting kids playing baseball. Turface Athletics is committed to education, sponsorships and support of groundskeepers across the U.S.A., which is right in line with Ripken Baseball’s efforts to provide coaches with sound instruction to benefit their players. Designed to create a long-term partnership, the multi-faceted agreement allows the organizations to grow and adapt together as partners in baseball at the grass-roots level. The partnership focuses on joint marketing efforts between the two organizations and will introduce Turface Athletics’ to the Ripken Baseball network and at their two facilities in Aberdeen, Md., and Myrtle Beach, S.C. “Ripken Baseball and Turface Athletics share the same core values of providing quality education and the desire to give players the best and safest fields possible,” said Joe Betulius, vice president of sales for PROFILE Products LLC. “Our sports field education initiative, the Keep America PlayingTM program, combined with Ripken Baseball’s clinics, seminars and tournaments, provides coaches and players a chance to not only play the game, but learn from the experience.” “We are excited about our new partnership with Turface,” said Chris Walsh, Ripken Stadium & Academy Head Groundskeeper. “They share our commitment to providing quality and safe playing surfaces at our complexes, and that is important to us.” The Keep America Playing Tour, presented by Turface Athletics, is designed to bring instruction to parents, coaches, groundskeepers and parent volunteers on best practices in constructing and maintaining sports fields.
