Board of Education tells Mondo “goodbye”
MIDDLETOWN, MD—After seven yes votes and one vote of "absolutely yes," the Board of Education acted to take completion of the turf field at Middletown High School North out of the hands of contractor Mondo USA. "I need a motion for the board to notify Mondo and the bonding company that we will be exercising our rights under the contract to take the project out of Mondo's hands and to enter the necessary contracts to remediate and complete the turf field project ourselves," board President Laura Agin said at the July 16 Board of Education meeting.
