Croton-on-Hudson village leaders have put new restrictions on the hours that power tools can be used to trim, mow and blow green space in the community. In an effort to make the village a little more livable during the dinner hours, mechanized garden tools will not be allowed after 6 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Those tools were currently allowed to be run until 8 pm on weekends under the old law.
