Dover Corporation’s Pump Solutions Group announced that Walter Bonnett has been promoted to the position of Vice President of PSG Marketing, a position from which he will report directly to PSG President Dean Douglas.

“Walter’s 10 years of experience in industrial marketing and the pump industry with Wilden® and PSG will serve our strategic initiatives well into the future,” said Douglas. “I’m confident that Walter’s progressive marketing vision will continue to differentiate, promote, position and strengthen our brands within the marketplace.”

In his new position, Bonnett will lead PSG’s Marketing Group, with the pivotal task of managing PSG’s “Business Face to the Outside World.” Bonnett’s major functions and focus as leader of the Marketing Group will be to spearhead and support strategic sales and marketing activities, and implement programs that will aid PSG’s image in the market. Among the key image-building components are market intelligence, brand promotion, E-business, Web strategies, marketing services, community relations and voice-of-the-customer interaction.

“The Marketing Group must be a creative and positive force in providing invaluable assistance to the PSG operating companies and sales force,” said Douglas. “Under Walter’s direction, marketing will be actively involved in our segment- and product-development strategies to ensure we achieve our ambitious business performance and growth objectives.”
