When Tom Barrios decided to pursue a golf-management degree, his choice of a college was easy.


Barrios, from Woodland, CA is a sophomore in the Arizona State University Professional Golf Management program at its Polytechnic Campus in Mesa.


“I knew this was the program I wanted,” Barrios said as he worked in a club-fitting lab this week on the campus. “The reputation of this program is the best. It has the best connections, great weather, great school, and I really like the people. This is the place to be if you want to learn the golf business.”
