As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, Bobcat Company is tipping its cap to the people behind the work with a limited-edition zero-turn mower that combines commemorative styling with commercial-grade performance.
The company is releasing 250 individually numbered Founders Edition ZT3500 zero-turn mowers, each featuring exclusive design elements while maintaining the same performance platform as the standard model.
“Bobcat was built on the belief that if you give people the right equipment, they can take on bigger jobs, build stronger businesses and create something that lasts,” said Jeremy Holck, vice president of grounds maintenance products at Bobcat. “This milestone is really about recognizing the people who carry that spirit forward – the operators and crews who continue to make an impact in their communities every day.”
The Founders Edition includes individually numbered units, a commemorative badge with American flag accents, blacked-out tailgate and rims, and an upgraded seat platform designed for longer days on the job. The mower retains the same durability, performance and ease of use as the standard ZT3500.
The limited-run mower will be available through select Bobcat dealerships nationwide. Some dealers also plan to showcase the machines at community celebrations, charitable fundraisers and local events tied to the nation’s semiquincentennial.
“We’re proud of the mowers we build, but even more proud of the people who put them to work,” Holck said. “This edition reflects that pride, expressed through a design that sets it apart.”
While the commemorative edition celebrates a historic milestone, Bobcat said it also recognizes the contractors, crews and businesses that continue building and maintaining communities across the country.
