Gravely Turf will offer unique products, services and promotions through independent dealers with the intent of delivering superior localized dealership service to customers typically served by larger, regional distributors. The program includes a combination of turf-related products and technologies from the Gravely, Locke and National lines. The initial launch of Gravely Turf will focus on the Southeast region.

“The business model for Gravely Turf is to deliver superior service through a network of independent dealers that are established as local lawn and garden experts,” says Dan Ariens, Company President.  “These dealers, in turn, have been asked to invest in turf field resources and infrastructure to support this customer base.”

Ariens entered the golf and sports turf segment with the 2006 acquisitions of Locke Reel Mowers and National Mower, two brands that have served the market for several decades. Ariens Company’s Gravely brand of commercial equipment for professional landscape contractors also shares some similar turf technology for municipal needs. The company is bringing the related product lines together in the marketplace.

“There is great synergy in combining the resources of Ariens Company with the technical knowledge of these three brands of professional equipment,” says Ariens. “Locke, National and Gravely represent over 250 years of innovation in the professional equipment business for turf maintenance and governmental accounts.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The Gravely Turf line up includes 15 products but will be expanded as needs are identified in the marketplace.
