Kubota Australia unveiled its next evolution in professional mowing; the FC Series, a three-model designated center collect front mower lineup engineered to deliver exceptional cut quality, operator comfort and all-day reliability for councils, contractors and turf professionals.
Built for discerning mowing operations from sports fields to parks, streetscapes and open municipal grounds, the FC Series Collection Mower Range combines advanced collection systems, front-mounted decks and high-discharge capability with Kubota’s proven diesel engineering. Each model has been designed to give operators maximum performance with minimal downtime.
The FC Series on offer in Australia and New Zealand currently includes three models, with a fourth expected to be added in 2026. Each FC-series model offers unique benefits to suit different professional applications.
Designed for restricted or built-up environments, the FC2-221 delivers exceptional maneuverability in a compact footprint.
Permanent 4WD with patented Hydrostatic Traction Control that is gentle on the turf, a hydraulic mower deck drive, and direct grass discharge give operators reliable performance with reduced maintenance requirements. Its simplified design makes it a practical choice for municipal mowing, contractors and landscapers managing mixed and confined spaces.
Engineered for precision around obstacles and in tighter spaces, the FC3-221E features a front-mounted mower deck that improves visibility and allows easy cutting under trees, benches and fencing.
Powered by a Kubota D902 3-cylinder diesel engine, the FC3-221E includes a turbine-fed 600-liter high-dump collector and 2WD HST transmission, offering precise, reliable performance across tight or challenging terrain. Maintenance access is streamlined, with the high-dump collector lifting to expose the engine compartment, allowing routine servicing to be carried out quickly and safely.
The FC3-261 combines comfort and strong performance with a reliable 26-hp. 3-cylinder Kubota diesel engine and smooth, responsive drive, featuring the patented Hydrostatic Traction Control that is gentle on turf, yet stable and controlled across a variety of terrains.
A powerful suction turbine feeds an 800-liter center-collection system, delivering clean, consistent grass pickup. Operators benefit from a suspended platform, ergonomic controls and the option of rotary or flail mower collection decks, making this model ideal for parks, recreation reserves and expansive community green spaces.
With models tailored for high-discharge collection, front-deck precision mowing, and compact maneuverability, Kubota’s FC Series gives operators the flexibility to match machine performance to the demands of every job.
“For each mower Kubota will be offering matched front attachments from rotary mowers, innovative reverse rotary mowers to flail mowers with both rear discharge and collection options, and specialist attachments such as brushes and sweepers for hard surfaces and artificial turf maintenance,” said Konstantin Blersch, senior product manager.
