Atlas Turf International and Pure Seed announced full-scale production of Stratis with ACCe technology, herbicide-resistant seeded seashore paspalum.
Developed by Pure-Seed Testing, Stratis offers control over invasive grasses while ensuring resilient, sustainable, and high-performing playing surfaces.
Stratis with ACCe combines the performance of Pure Seed’s seeded paspalum with ACCe herbicide-resistance technology from the University of Georgia (UGA), allowing selective control of unwanted grasses such as bermudagrass, crabgrass and goosegrass. Compatible with ACCe-inhibiting herbicides, including sethoxydim, fenoxaprop, fluazifop-butyl, and pinoxaden, STRATIS allows turf professionals to maintain clean, pure stands with greater efficiency.

The innovation began with research by UGA professor Dr. Paul Raymer, who identified the mutation conferring herbicide resistance in paspalum. Pure-Seed Testing then conducted extensive multi-year trials to develop, evaluate, and select superior parent lines, resulting in the commercial release of STRATIS with ACCe.
Stratis offers a full suite of high-performance characteristics, including outstanding salt and wear tolerance, excellent disease resistance, a deep green color, and a fine-to-medium texture with tight density, all contributing to a premium playing surface. Adaptable across mowing heights, Stratis is ideal for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, sports fields and landscaped areas.
STRATIS Seeded Paspalum with ACCe Technology is available exclusively through Atlas Turf International and Pure Seed and their licensed distributors. Supplies for the remainder of 2025 are limited, with additional inventory available in 2026.
