Oregon Tool introduced its new TerraMax trimmer line designed specifically to tackle tough conditions including dry and rocky terrain areas.
TerraMax is made with a high-grade copolymer blended for added strength and stiffness for use in and around dense and robust vegetation. In tests, this new line performed better, according to Oregon, had less line flutter and was more stable with faster cutting. And when it’s time to replace the line, TerraMax’s aerodynamic design and extended pitch make it easier to feed into bump-feed heads.
“Many people don’t realize how important trimmer line is to delivering results,” said Carissa Gingras, director of marketing, North America, Forest, Lawn and Garden for Oregon Tool. “And when the terrain is rough, operators need a line that is up to the task, like Oregon’s TerraMax.”
In addition, TerraMax was developed to be more resistant to abrasion and experienced less line loss than competitors for those times when concrete and rock can’t be avoided. The co-extruded line provides the extra durability that harsh conditions demand.
