Sports Turf Company has completed the first phase of the Fulton County School District athletic facility renovations. This phase included renovating practice athletic fields at five Fulton County (Ga.) high schools: Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Creekside High School in Fairburn, Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Milton High School in Milton and Westlake High School in Atlanta.
“We are excited to see phase one completed for Fulton County Schools,” said Todd Wiggins, president of Sports Turf Company. “It is a privilege to work for a school system that places such a high importance on their athletic facilities, and we’re excited to keep working on the next two phases to give them the facilities their athletes deserve.”
Sports Turf renovated the practice fields at all five high schools to an AstroTurf artificial turf system. The system installed features monofilament fibers with a RootZone layer of texturized fibers for optimum durability and better shock absorbency.
Sports Turf specializes in the construction and installation of sport surfaces, including natural grass and artificial turf fields, tennis courts and track surfaces.
