AstroTurf announced the completion of a new 3D3 52 field system at Wynne High School in Arkansas. The turf replacement comes in the wake of an EF-3 tornado that tore through the city, causing significant damage to local infrastructure, including the high school and its athletic facilities.
The tornado, which struck Wynne in April 2023, caused extensive damage to Wynne High School and its football stadium, including the destruction of the original turf and scoreboard. The tragedy deeply impacted the community, but it also sparked a remarkable coming together of residents, city officials and local organizations, determined to rebuild and restore the heart of their community.
