On December 5, NFL Chief Medical Officer Dr. Allen Sills led a discussion on the league’s collaborative, research-driven approach to reducing lower extremity injuries. The conversation focused on strategies being deployed during the preseason acclimation period, cutting-edge research being conducted to improve field surfaces, and efforts of the NFL-NFLPA Joint Surfaces Committee.
