Landmark hires Ewacha as director of international sales

Landmark Seed Company has hired Terry Ewacha as its new director of international sales starting September 5. Ewacha grew up on a mixed grain/livestock farm in southern Manitoba, Canada. Seed production was always a part of their operation and eventually replaced the livestock portion of their farm. Ewacha continues to operate their family business with his brother, their wives, and children.

Upon graduation from the University of Manitoba, Ewacha began his career in the Canadian seed trade for Pickseed as a field rep/agronomist. From there he progressed to facility manager in Winnipeg, western Canada’s facilities supervisor, export /domestic wholesale director, western Canadian retail director, and most recently executive vice president in charge of western Canadian operations and wholesale/retail business segments under the DLF Pickseed brand.

“We are very excited to have Terry Ewacha join our team,” said John Patton, director of Landmark Seed. “Terry’s 37 years plus experience in the seed business and extensive network of global relationships will not only facilitate him in his immediate roll as Landmark’s International Sales Director but will allow Landmark to accelerate our strategic plan for the further development of the Canadian business segment both in terms of marketing and production.”
