AstroTurf announces new distributor for Great Lakes region

AstroTurf Corporation added AstroTurf Great Lakes to its nationwide network of synthetic turf distributors and installers.

AstroTurf Great Lakes will be led by Todd DeWolfe and business partners John Forrester and Justin Booth.

“Being a partner of synthetic turf athletic field builder has always been a dream of mine,” said DeWolfe.  “For this new journey in my career, it was important to me to stay in the Sport Group/AstroTurf family and being able to start AstroTurf Great Lakes was something I couldn’t turn down.“We’re extremely grateful that the leadership at Sport Group and AstroTurf Corporation has entrusted us in continuing and building upon the historical success the AstroTurf brand has in the Great Lakes region,” added DeWolfe.  “My business partners, John Forrester and Justin Booth, and I would like to thank Jay Glasscock, Heard Smith and Philip Snider for helping make this distributor partnership a reality.  John and Justin are uniquely qualified as business partners at AstroTurf Great Lakes as they have grown SYNLawn Michigan into a high performing distributor for Sport Group’s landscape division.”

A graduate of Central Michigan University’s Recreational Facility Management program, DeWolfe spent time working for businesses that built sports facilities before entering the turf industry in 1998. He was employed by ProGrass as vice president of business and development until the company’s acquisition by the AstroTurf Corporation.

“We’ve enjoyed great success and extreme growth with SYNLawn in the state of Michigan over the last three years,” said Booth. “With creating this new AstroTurf territory and having Todd join us as a partner, we will look to expand on that growth in the sports field sector and corner the turf market as a whole.”
