UGA Turfgrass Research Field Day to be held August 3

After four years, the University of Georgia (UGA) Turfgrass Research Field Day is back. It will be held August 3, 2022.

Come and get the latest information on how to care for your turfgrass from UGA researchers and extension specialists. Field day includes such topics as controlling turf insects such as mole crickets and white grubs and turf pests like crabgrass and other weeds.

There is always an excellent BBQ lunch followed by displays and demonstrations of the latest turfgrass industry equipment.

While you’re enjoying learning about what’s new in turfgrass, don’t forget to sign up for your CEUs. UGA Turfgrass Research Field day has been approved for 5 hours of category 24 pesticide recertification credits in Georgia. Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee have also approved the UGA field day for pesticide credits.
