Apply for a $30,000 research grant from the SAFE Foundation. To be considered, the proposal must benefit the sports field management industry in the following area: Field maintenance or performance as it relates to the safety of the playing surface for athletes (study may be directed toward, but is not limited to, turfgrass health, uniformity, wear tolerance, hardness, athlete injuries, field temperatures, etc.).
SAFE is not currently accepting proposals that require multi-year funding. However, being awarded a grant one year does not disqualify your institution from re-applying for a grant in future years. To access the easy-to-fill out three-page application, click here.
