The UConn Turfgrass Science Program announced a Virtual Turfgrass Field Day to be held August 18 from 10 a.m. – Noon. This new online webcast program will seek to preserve the field day culture by featuring five short video recorded field tour presentations of active research in the areas of turfgrass management, pathology, and cultivar evaluations. Following each video presentation, participants will engage in a live online discussion and Q&A with the researcher and event host.
Registrants will receive an email with a personal link to log-in to the virtual field day webcast.
Two pesticide credits for PA, 3A, and 3B — Private Applicator, Ornamental & Turf, and Golf Course Superintendent are available. Continuing education and re-certification credits will be available for registrants who participate in the entire live webcast only. Attendance will be tracked. Any later viewing of on-demand content will not qualify.
