“Stars and Stripes” field design contest opens June 12

Start planning today for the STMA’s fourth annual “Stars and Stripes” contest that launches June 12. Enter for a chance to win a complimentary pass to the 2020 STMA Conference next January in West Palm Beach, FL.

In honor of our countrymen and our nation’s birthday, create your most unique Fourth of July field art design, snap some beauty shots of your work and enter them in to win. You must be an active STMA member to enter; only patterns crafted with mowing equipment and paint are eligible.

Last year’s winner was Ryder Haulk, Assistant Sports Field Manager of Purdue University athletics. Brian Bornino, CSFM, also assisted with the project, including 50 stars and 13 stripes within the Purdue “P.”

Entries can be submitted via Facebook through July 7. The public may vote via Facebook from July to 8 to 14. The design receiving the most votes will be declared the winner, upon verification.

Note: Previous “Stars and Stripes” winners are not eligible apply.
