The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) has recognized
Payton Field/Baker Stadium at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA with a Grand Award in the Athletic Fields category of the Society’s 2014 Green Star Awards program.
The Green Star Awards program brings national recognition to grounds maintained with a high degree of excellence, complimenting other national landscape award programs that recognize outstanding landscape design and construction. Overall, PGMS presented six Grand Awards, its highest honor, as well as seventeen Honor Awards and three Merit Awards in six categories of competition.
