FMC offers new videos on application guidelines and product demonstration

New videos from FMC Corporation demonstrate proper guidelines for liquid pesticide applications as well as take viewers step-by-step through applications of Talstar® Professional Insecticide both outdoors and indoors. The videos are part of an initiative by FMC to promote environmental and product stewardship.

Now live on the FMC YouTube Turf channel, “How to Properly Apply Liquid Pesticides” and “How to Properly Apply Talstar® Professional Insecticide” are each three minutes long. A six-minute version incorporating both videos is also live on the FMC Turf YouTube site.

“As a way to promote stewardship, we wanted to show our customers the proper guidelines for liquid insecticide applications for outdoor spot and perimeter treatments, as well as indoor applications,” said Catherine Bernard, Insecticide Brand Marketing Manager for FMC. “In addition, since Talstar Professional Insecticide is one of the most widely used insecticides, we wanted to encourage product stewardship by showing the correct way to apply the product.”

Lauren Wilson, a Technical Service Representative for FMC and a licensed commercial applicator, clearly demonstrates how to prepare for an outdoor application, including removing all pets, toys and people from the area. She then shows the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when making an application, how to prepare for an indoor application, proper storage of pesticides and how to prepare for an accidental spill. In the application demonstration video, she shows how to mix and spray Talstar Professional Insecticide both indoors and outdoors.
