After you’ve moved into your dorm, apartment, fraternity or sorority house, start preparing your materials to apply for the SAFE Scholarships. Each year, SAFE awards scholarships in amounts greater than $1,000 to students seeking two-year degrees, four-year degrees, and graduate degrees, based on the merits of those students applying. In addition to financial aid, those selected as winners also receive recognition at the STMA Awards Banquet, free STMA Conference registration, and three nights of lodging at the STMA Conference. Since the inception of the program in 2000, SAFE has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships, awards, and travel/lodging to scholarship winners.
