Plans to raise funds to replace grass football fields at Belleville East and Belleville West with artificial turf are off to a very slow start, according to Superintendent Jeff Dosier, who said he is surprised about how much push back he has received from parents and taxpayers about plans to raise private money to put in the new fields.
