This position manages all University playing surfaces and surrounding areas to provide optimum performance and appearance. This position is responsible for the maintenance of all athletic, playing and practice fields and surfaces totaling approximately 65 acres. The incumbent carries out work through assignments to subordinate workers as well as hands-on involvement. Bachelors Degree, Associate’s degree, or Certificate in Turfgrass Management required. Three (3) to five (5) years athletic field maintenance preferred and must have demonstrated experience operating power equipment typically used in landscaping.
