Barry Larson has been appointed a regional sales manager for Smithco Inc., manufacturer of sports field and golf course maintenance equipment. He will be responsible for the Midwest Region and parts of the Northwest. Barry is a graduate of Penn State’s 2-year Turfgrass Management program. He started his sales career with Wisconsin Turf Equipment Corporation with responsibilities in both the golf and sports sector. From there he joined Medalist America Turfgrass Seed as a turfgrass specialist. In 2001 he joined Jacobsen @ Textron Company as a regional sales manager. He has been married for 27 years with 2 grown children and lives in Janesville, WI.
