Krylon Products Group offers more than 1600 products that are greenhouse gas-free, giving both industrial consumers and manufacturing facilities non-ozone-depleting alternatives that meet their needs. Paints, coatings, lubricants, electronic cleaners and degreasers are just a few of the products available from Krylon. The company has implemented a greenhouse gas free-program as a step to comply with the goals of the United States Climate Action Partnership (USCAP) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Leaders Partners to slow, stop and reverse the growth of greenhouse gas emissions.
Krylon makes it easy for consumers and businesses to choose greenhouse gas-free products for many industrial applications. Krylon’s research lab has developed numerous non-aerosol alternative coatings, available in recyclable containers, which deliver high-quality performance without greenhouse gas propellants. With more than 1600 greenhouse gas-free products in total, Krylon provides high-quality, high-performance products that customers need while doing their part to protect the environment.
The EPA and other organizations like the USCAP are working toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions and their effects on the environment. Aerosol paints and chemicals account for a very small amount of greenhouse gases worldwide, but Krylon Industrial (a brand family of the Sherwin-Williams Co.), as a member of the EPA Climate Leaders Partners, is committed to “reducing its impact on the global environment by completing a corporate-wide inventory of its greenhouse gas emissions, setting long-term reduction goals, and annually reporting their progress to EPA.”
