The construction of a long awaited, 46-acre sports park in the East Franklin area will begin this summer at the cost of $16.7 million.
The Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) board awarded a $10.6 million contract to the Goodland Landscape Construction, Inc. at their June 18 meeting. Additional costs for items such as a water well and the installation of artificial turf for sports fields were added to the park’s price.
