NFL Field Director Nick Pappas showed off the innovative technology that goes into the natural grass playing surface in preparation for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
“We have brought in a brand-new grass field. We are working through all of our standard testing procedures that take place from installation all the way up through the day before the game,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL executive vice president of club business, international, and league events. “The natural grass surface is installed right now and we have a great team maintaining it as we head towards the Super Bowl.”
