Golf course and sports field professionals from across the west will come together October 26-28 in Ontario, Canada, for three days of education, exhibits, networking and special events at the Ontario Convention Center.
The summit will feature more than 90 educational sessions addressing the day-to-day challenges facing golf courses, sports fields and the professionals who manage them.
Here is a first look at three of the summit speakers.
- Allison George, general manager, River Bend Golf Club, will share how she keeps her team and back-office operations moving forward while using technology and AI to support organization and productivity.
- Brad Jakubowski, associate professor of teaching, Penn State University, will lead sessions covering several essential areas of turfgrass management, including budgeting fundamentals, meteorology and weather apps, and successful community-level fields.
- Gerald Henry, Ph.D., professor of environmental turfgrass science, University of Georgia, will share his expertise through sessions focused on athlete safety, field performance, aerification and weed control.
