Agri-Fab has introduced a new handheld spreader designed for use on small lawns and in areas that are difficult to reach with larger equipment.
The handheld spreader, model No. 45-0644-800, is intended for distributing seed, fertilizer, herbicide or granular insecticide on lawns and gardens. The company said it can also be used to spread salt on icy sidewalks during winter conditions.
The unit features a one-pound poly cup that holds up to one gallon of dry granular material and includes a hand reel that allows users to control the rate of material flow. Depending on the material used and application speed, the spreader can cover up to 1,500 square feet, according to the company.
“Everyone needs Agri-Fab’s handheld spreader regardless of yard size,” said Hilary Conner, vice president of sales and marketing for Agri-Fab. “Homeowners with smaller yards will appreciate its ease of use and minimal storage footprint, while large-yard homeowners will love being able to access and care for hard-to-reach landscaping areas.”
The spreader comes pre-assembled and is available individually or in cases of six through online retailers and select Agri-Fab retail partners nationwide.
