The 2024 Mississippi State University (MSU) Turfgrass Research Field Day will be held on September 19 at the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station (MAFES) R.R. Foil Plant Science Research Facility (North Farm) in Starkville, Mississippi.
Attendees will see grow-in studies, new turfgrass varieties and turfgrass weed control trials; experience great food and fellowship; meet MSU students; and learn something new.
After lunch, pesticide applicator/CEU training will be held in the newly renovated, air conditioned headhouse building adjacent to the turf facility. Attendees wishing to complete CEUs for the following states/entities must remain present until adjourned.
CEUs approved:
- MS Recertification approval for Categories III, HCPL, HCWL, X, and VII-3
- AR Recertification approval
- TX CEUs approved IPM 1 hr., Laws & Regs. 1 hr., General Pest Features 3 hrs.
- FL CEUs approved O & T 5 CEUs, Commercial Lawn and Ornamental 5 CEUs, and Gen Standard 487 and 482 1 CEU each
- GA CEUs approved Private 1 hr. and O & T 5 hrs.
