The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) announced that its annual trade show and conference will take place in Baltimore, November 6-9, 2024, at the Baltimore Convention Center. An estimated 5,000 tree care professionals are expected to gather – from CEOs aiming to grow their businesses and support their teams to climbers, plant health care specialists, sales and human resources staff.
TCI EXPO ‘24 will feature more than 260 exhibitors so attendees can meet directly with vendors, demo products, try on gear, see equipment in action and much more.
TCIA also announced new events to make this year’s TCI EXPO more engaging, experiential and immersive than ever:
- TCI EXPOGrow – a fresh addition to the trade show floor that features 30-minute sessions of unique learning opportunities for personal growth.
- The Work Zone, brought to you by Noble Oak – a new collaborative space for arborists to exchange insights and expertise on the latest equipment and techniques.
TCI EXPOClimb also returns for the third year in partnership with The Academy incorporating Trainer’s Labs and open truss testing for all the latest climbing gear and instruction. A live tree will provide the opportunity for Live Tree Demos from the industry’s top trainers to enhance knowledge on rigging, climbing techniques, and more.
This year, the TCIA Welcome Reception, sponsored by Vermeer, will feature a live band.
Education is a cornerstone of TCI EXPO, with more than 35 educational sessions and six pre-conference workshops.
“TCI EXPO supports your entire business,” said Peter Gerstenberger, senior vice president of industry support at TCIA. “We are pleased to offer even more hands-on learning opportunities on our trade floor than ever so attendees can get more guidance and earn more Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Student Career Day, sponsored by Stihl, Inc., is for aspiring arborists pursuing careers in arboriculture, horticulture, or forestry and currently attending a vocational school, college or university. Limited funding is available. Interested students should contact their school advisor or StudentCareerDays@tcia.org. Partnership opportunities are still available.
Tree care professionals can register to attend the trade show floor only or purchase an All-Access pass, which includes access to all trade show floor activities, the Welcome Reception sponsored by Vermeer, and 35 educational sessions (including digital access until January 31, 2025).
