Colorado SFMA Lawn Mower Open

The 30th Annual Colorado SFMA Lawn Mower Open will be held on July 8 at The Pinery Country Club in Parker, Colorado. This tournament is sponsored by the CSFMA in an effort to raise money for scholarship funds for students in the sports turf industry. It is an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Format: Scramble. Entry: $130. MPSFMA Demo Day
MPSFMA Demo Day is set for July 10 at Two Rivers High School in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, beginning at 9 a.m. This is a chance to see and demo the latest and greatest being offered by MPSFMA vendors. Robotic painting demos from four companies captured the interest of many attendees who attended last year’s MPSFMA Demo Day. More than 120 MPSFMA members and co-workers attended the free, 4-hour event hosted by Matt Grosjean, CSFM, former president of MPSFMA. Pre-registration is necessary for the barbecue lunch count. TVSFMA Field Day

Mark DeWolf Memorial Golf Tournament
The New England SFMA (NE-SFMA) announced that the Mark DeWolf Memorial Golf Tournamentwill be heldJuly 17 at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts. The tournament isa platform for sports field professionals to come together, network, and make a tangible difference. Inspired by the indomitable spirit of Mark DeWolf, participants will be teeing off for a purpose, as proceeds will benefit NE-SFMA’s scholarship and benevolent fund.The tournament will be held at Brookmeadow Country Club, a championship 18-hold public course. Georgia SFMA Partner Showcase Day
The Georgia SFMA Partner Showcase Day will be held July 18 at Hamilton Crossing Park in Cartersville, Georgia. The event is free to members and $20 for nonmembers and will showcase autonomous equipment, renovation equipment, daily maintenance equipment and materials, products and services. Nebraska Turfgrass Research Field Day
Nebraska Turfgrass Research Field Day will be held July 19 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The event will feature morning tours, and presentation regarding NTEP trials, IPM of turfgrass diseases, bermudagrass management in Nebraska, insect pests of turfgrass, water management, and yellow nutsedge herbicide efficacy. Lunch will be provided by Wahoo Meat Locker, and will be followed by an afternoon sports turf workshop and Nebraska SFMA meeting at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. Alabama Turfgrass Association Sports Turf Field Day
The Alabama Turfgrass Association (ATA) Sports Turf Field Day will be held August 12 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex in Hoover, Alabama.
