NorCal STMA November 6 in Meadow Vista Park
Looking for a slower day after the summer rush? Look no further; our Fall Field Day is just around the corner. The theme this year is Equipment Extravaganza. Topics will include:
1. How to properly backlap a reel mower/ sharpen and balance rotary blades.
2. Mowing techniques. (Best management practices for height of cut on different types of grass, the importance of mowing patterns, how to strip while mowing, mulching vs. non mulching, and much more).
3. Aeration. The do’s and don’ts, how to do minor repairs, and which tines to use for which purposes.
4. Utility cart skills test. We will have a few different utility carts and a small obstacle course setup for you to test your skills and compare various types of carts.
5. Vendor Fair
The event will be at Meadow Vista Park on November 6th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
