Fisher Engineering has introduced the new XRS plow, designed specifically for skid steers. The plow also features a brand-new oscillating plow mount, which is standard on the XRS and optional on the HD2 and HDX skid-steer plows.
The XRS combines productivity and ease of use in a package that’s ideal for skid-steer applications. When angling the plow right or left, the plow automatically retracts the inside wing when full angled and then returns to the scoop position once straight. This offers increased efficiency and operator comfort, especially in tough situations with heavy snow and large plowing areas.
The new oscillating mount offers several of its own key advantages to skid-steer operators. It features six degrees of side-to-side oscillation, improving scraping and cutting-edge wear. It also helps the plow adapt to uneven ground, reducing damage to the terrain and the plow.
As always, the operator is the focus, and the new mount allows the skid-steer loader bucket hydraulics to lift and lower the blade, improving operator performance.
FISHER offers the new mount standard on the new XRS plow, and as an option on the FISHER HD2 and HDX straight blade skid-steer plows.
Tyler Jones, Product Manager of Fisher Engineering, added, “Skid-steer plowing jobs often mean tackling a large area and a large amount of snow. With this new plow and mount, we’re giving our customers the confidence to do a great job on even the most daunting tasks.”
