Sod Solutions is excited to announce the hiring of Julie Adamski, the company’s new director of retail and professional development. Julie is tasked with developing new partnerships in targeted markets and strengthening existing relationships, as well as identifying and creating programs that increase demand for Sod Solutions line of turfgrasses and products.
“Julie is a bright and engaged student of the turfgrass industry,” said Tobey Wagner, president of Sod Solutions. “Her background knowledge of the business and her relationship-building qualities make her the perfect candidate for growing Sod Solutions’ brands of turfgrasses in the retail sector. She is a creative, positive individual with a vast understanding of natural grass. We are thrilled to have her on board.”
Julie is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Penn State University. She holds a degree in Turfgrass and Soil Science with a minor in Agribusiness Management. She comes to the company via the Maryland SoccerPlex, where she was the Assistant Grounds and Environmental Manager. She previously worked at Chartiers Country Club in Pittsburgh, with the Penn State Athletics Grounds Crew and at Heinz Field with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
