To help professional turf managers improve the effectiveness and control of spray applications, Precision Laboratories introduces Border T&O spray performance adjuvant. Border T&O improves spray droplet adhesion and coverage on leaf surfaces and reduces off-target movement of spray mixes.. By better managing spray performance, turf managers can maximize the efficacy and ROI of their plant protection and foliar nutrient products.
In typical tank-mix applications, spray droplets smaller than 200 microns may never reach the target due to environmental factors, including evaporation and drift. Common drift control adjuvants overcome this by increasing droplet size, but larger droplets can reduce coverage or bounce off the target, decreasing pesticide performance.
HPG Polymer technology, a special chemistry derived from natural polymers in Boarder T&O, reduces droplet bounce and improves product coverage and retention on leaf surfaces.
The precise delivery of plant protectants, growth regulators and foliar nutrients is critical for producing satisfying results. Also, off-target application is a costly loss to turf managers and one that can impact the surrounding environment.
“Each spray tank load of chemicals costs the golf course thousands of dollars,” says Don Spier, vice president of turf and ornamentals at Precision Laboratories. “The technology within Border T&O allows superintendents the capability to better manage spray characteristics, performance, efficacy and turf health, all while protecting input investments.”
Border T&O offers a wide-range of tank-mix compatibility with other turf inputs. It’s a versatile adjuvant that is formulated to work well in most types of spray equipment.
