BioWorks announces the addition of Glenn Morrell, Technical Sales Manager for Turf and Ornamental. The company has made a strategic decision to enter the turf market, and Morrell’s 30 years of industry experience will position BioWorks for success in this market.
Turfgrass is a multibillion dollar industry in the United States, and a large part of its management includes pesticides and fertilizers. BioWorks products are primarily biological and organic, which the company knows will provide it with an edge for turfgrass managers sensitive to the concerns for a safer environment.
“There is an increasing public concern over the use of pesticides and fertilizers in urban areas,” stated Joe Gionta, BioWorks Director of Sales and Marketing. “Biological control has become a desirable and effective alternative treatment to keeping grasses and landscapes healthy and strong.
