Netafim USA CEO John Vikupitz has announced the appointment of irrigation professional Ze'ev Barylka as director of marketing for Netafim USA and Netafim Mexico.

Netafim USA CEO John Vikupitz has announced the appointment of irrigation professional Ze’ev Barylka as director of marketing for Netafim USA and Netafim Mexico.


Barylka will oversee all new product development and introductions, education and training, and marketing communications for the irrigation manufacturer. He will also be responsible for directing Netafim marketing efforts in Mexico.


“With Ze’ev’s many years of experience in the irrigation industry and successful track record in business development, we know he will be a major asset to the Netafim team as we move forward with expansion plans throughout North America,” said Vikupitz.


“As a company, we foresee significant growth in Netafim dripline irrigation products for both landscape and agriculture because we offer the world’s most sustainable solutions for the efficient use of water,” he said.                                                                                             


Barylka was recently affiliated with Dorot Control Valves, Inc. as director of sales and marketing in North America and also oversaw new business development.


Prior to working with Dorot, Barylka was vice president of sales for OTI, a company specializing in automated control systems. He has also worked as chief technology officer for Tnuva, Israel’s largest dairy products manufacturer.


Barylka earned an MBA from Haifa University in Israel and is a graduate of the Technological Institute of Israel with degrees in Food Engineering and Biotechnology.


He is a member of the American Waterworks Assn, the Irrigation Assn, the California Water Environment Assn and World Economic Forum.
