Barenbrug USA has hired Samantha Miller as their new marketing coordinator and Chris Quinlan as the new turf territory manager for the Midwest region.

Barenbrug USA has hired Samantha Miller as their new Marketing Coordinator. Samantha will be responsible for expanding and guiding the Barenbrug brand in the professional markets. Samantha is joining Barenbrug from Gluten Free RN, where she served as the Marketing and Executive Assistant. At Gluten Free RN Samantha played a key role in the marketing and development for the company brand and image. She represented the business through advertising, networking, websites, social media, presentations and promotional events.

Samantha received her Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Marketing from Western Oregon University. While working towards her degree she worked full time as manager for Papa Murphy’s in Corvallis, OR.

Samantha has a real passion for marketing and is thrilled to help strengthen and expand the Barenbrug brand. Additionally, being raised on a small hay farm in Corvallis, Samantha has knowledge and passion for agriculture. She is excited to apply her experience and knowledge in both the Professional Turf and Forage markets for Barenbrug USA.

Samantha currently lives with her husband and two dogs in North Albany, Oregon. In her free time she likes spending time outdoors, cooking, working on the family farm and hanging out with her family and friends.


Barenbrug USA has hired Chris Quinlan as the new Turf Territory Manager for the Midwest region. Quinlan will be responsible for professional turf sales and supporting distribution in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois.


Joining Barenbrug USA from Becker Underwood, Quinlan served as senior territory manager for over 12 years. At Becker Underwood he was responsible for the turf, industrial vegetation management, agriculture and greenhouse markets in the Midwest and West. Chris also spent five years as assistant golf course superintendent in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Furthermore, he spent five years as distributor territory manager serving the horticulture business in Minnesota and Wisconsin.


Quinlan received his BA in marketing from University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Additionally, he holds a two-year certificate from Michigan State University in turfgrass management. Quinlan states, “I am looking forward to working with our distributors, while growing our profitable business together and carrying on the long standing Barenbrug tradition of being great in grass.”


Quinlan looks forward to weekends and spending time outside with his family; wife, son and their two dogs. He also enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, biking, fishing and skiing.
