Horizon Distributors, Inc. announced it has become a distributor of Rain Bird Turf irrigation products and Jacobsen turf maintenance equipment in both Florida and the Caribbean islands. “At Horizon, we’ve built our company partnering with great suppliers,” explained Phil Stephens, vice president, sales and marketing, Horizon. “We’re very happy to bring innovative in-demand product lines to our customers in Florida and the Caribbean, two expanding markets with needs that fit the products and services we specialize in.”

The Jacobsen and Rain Bird distributor partnerships are the result of Horizon’s expansion into Florida and the Caribbean earlier this year, part of the company’s continued growth plans.

“We’ve worked very hard to ease the transition for all of our customers in Florida and the Caribbean,” Stephens added. “As part of the Pool Corporation, Horizon brings deeper, stronger backing to the relationship, which means our customers will now have more products and services to choose from. We’ve made a serious commitment to this strategic expansion.”

Although the Horizon name may be new to many superintendents and landscape professionals in the Southeast, the company is a well-established and respected industry supplier across America’s greater Sun Belt, from the Pacific Northwest through California, Nevada and Arizona to Texas and now Florida and the Caribbean.

Now with over 60 locations in ten states, Horizon has earned a reputation among its thousands of customers for quality materials and dependable service.

“Horizon has a long history of serving irrigation, landscape and turf care professionals, and now that we’re in the state of Florida and the Caribbean we’re able to provide those professionals with additional resources to help them build on their successes,” added Stephens. “We’re looking forward to doing just that.”
