FMC Professional Solutions, a business unit of FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC), announces Adam Manwarren as the new Turf Product Manager overseeing the golf, lawn care and ornamental market segments.

Manwarren joins FMC after spending the last 10 years working in professional pest control and agriculture with Dow Agro Sciences. His roles included overseeing market research for pest control and coastal crops, pest control sales and a variety of marketing and program manager positions.

His extensive experience managing herbicides while working closely with sales and marketing forces made him an ideal candidate for the Product Manager position. The announcement was made by Rick Ekins, marketing manager for FMC Professional Solutions.

“Adam brings to FMC an extensive background of product line management and product launch experience,” Ekins said.  “His skill set is critically important to FMC as we continue to build an impressive turf product portfolio.  With no shortage of products in our development pipeline, we’ll be putting Adam’s skills to work immediately. We’re pleased to have him join our team.”

Manwarren graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Agri Business, and has a Master’s Degree from Indiana University in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

“I’m very excited to be working at FMC, especially with all of the exciting new product solutions in the development pipeline and the activity that has grown the portfolio both in turf and in pest control,” said Manwarren. “I’m looking forward to maintaining the strong relationships with our customers and distributors and continuing to help them grow their businesses in 2010 and beyond.”

Manwarren starts on October 7 and will report directly to Ekins, who formerly held the turf product manager role.  A father of two boys, Manwarren is married and was born and raised in Minnesota. He following in his father’s footsteps by working in agriculture and then later moved into pest control and turf. He and his family currently reside outside of Indianapolis and will soon be relocating to Philadelphia.

FMC Professional Solutions serves the pest, turf and ornamental markets with a complete product line, including fungicides, herbicides and insecticides. The products also include the CB® Professional Products portfolio, acquired by FMC earlier this year.
