Dow AgroSciences announces new T&O positions

Dow AgroSciences announces several changes to its Turf & Ornamental business division. Ryan Messner has accepted the role of black belt in the Strategy Acceleration & Productivity group, while Maureen Clark has taken the position of sales representative, replacing Messner.


Messner, sales representative for the Southern Urban Pest District located in Florida, will relocate to Indianapolis and transition to his new role effective Aug. 1, 2009.


Messner earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Saint Joseph’s College of Indiana and has worked in Turf & Ornamental sales territories in Tennessee and Florida.


Clark, previously a sales trainee for the Midwest Urban Pest District located in Indiana, joined the Southern Urban Pest District on May 1, 2009. She will be responsible for all Turf & Ornamental sales activities for western Florida, focusing mainly on the sales and services of CURFEW® soil fumigant; DIMENSION®, GALLERY® and SNAPSHOT® specialty herbicides; CONSERVE® SC turf and ornamental insect control; and EAGLE® 20EW specialty fungicide. Clark has relocated to Tampa, Fla.


Clark earned a bachelor’s degree in turfgrass sciences from Purdue University in 2004. Prior to joining Dow AgroSciences, Clark worked as an assistant golf course superintendent at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
