The Kentucky Sports Field Management Association (KYSFMA) announced a field cleanup day to be held April 10 at New Haven Community Park.
The effort will include:
- Safecoat installation
- Infield grading
- Installation of new base anchors, new pitching rubber and new home plate
- Painting of foul lines and foul poles
- Stringing off field
- Seeding and fertilizing the outfield
- Edging the field
- Setting up the gameplan for the year
KYSFMA invites volunteers to give back to the community and network with turf managers from throughout the state for this hands-on experience.
The event features a free meal sponsored by KYSFMA.
