As part of its ongoing commitment to delivering high-level service and support, the Sports Field Management Association (SFMA) notified members of an upcoming update to its payment processing policy. Beginning January 1, 2026, a 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments. This fee reflects the actual cost of credit card acceptance and does not exceed SFMA’s processing expense.
SFMA will continue offering no-fee payment options, including:
- ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfer
- Debit card
- Check (by mail or in person)
On December 1, 2025, SFMA emailed all members to announce this change. That message served as the required 30-day notice, and this article provides an additional reminder.
